How many people can I expect to come to my
stadium in a league game?
The number of people that will visit your stadium is
dependent on your league and your rank. The following
table is an indication of how many people you can expect to
come to your stadium assuming you have sufficient capacity
and are using the 75:23:2 standing/sitting/VIP distribution
ratio.

Making your stadium much bigger than those figures above
for a given league is a waste of money unless you are doing
cup games. Note however, that normally only the very
best teams have a chance of reaching so far in an official
cup to fill a larger stadium.
Do I get money in home and away games ?
When playing Friendly Leagues, Friendlies and
League games you ONLY get money if your team is
playing at home and only for the FIRST TWO games of
the week. The matches in the league normally switch
so that you toggle between home and away game BUT
sometimes you may get two back to back home or away
games. So check the matches schedule in advance to
you don't get financial caught out by
over-committing yourself thinking you have a home
game next.
Cup games are the exception where both home and away
team get money from ticket sales. Only the home team
however gets income from facilities.
How do I arrange friendly games?
You can either ask people to invite you or invite people
to game.
To invite people to a game find the team you want to
invite and then from the left menu select "Team" and then
from the middle team select "Challenge". From there
you can set the time and date. Remember to offer
people both a home and away game and try organize it so they
are on the same day as it makes scheduling games a lot
easier.
If you don't know who to invite go to the forums via
"Community" -> Forums -> "Friendlies / Training".
Create a thread asking for a "double". You see lots of
such threads. You could always invite someone that
asking again there yourself.
I played a friendly game at home but didnt get
any income?
You only get income for the first two home games
in a week.
What are the differences between the leagues?
Other than the quality of teams you play, the only
difference between leagues is the prize money, the
sponsor income and the amount of spectators your stadium
will attract. The table below gives you a summary:

What do you get for doing well in a league?
When the league is over, the top 3 teams with
managers in a division are given prizes. The table
below is an indication of how much – it may change
next year. Note that this is for the top 3 humanly
controlled teams. So you may still get a prize if
your team wasn’t in the top 3 but the some of the
other teams above you were computer controlled.

The team at the top of the league will automatically be promoted, in
the above example this would be Manchester United.
The 2nd and 3rd team in the division (Liverpool,
Arsenal) will go into the qualifiers. If they
win their qualification group they will get promoted
otherwise they will stay in the same league next
season. Note that the two teams will go into
different qualification groups.
The 4th-7th team in the league (Chelsea - Aston
Villa) will stay in the same league next season.
The 8th and 9th team will go into qualifiers to
stay in this league. If they don't win their
qualifiers they will be relegated. Note that
these two teams will go into different qualification
groups.
The 10th-12th team in the league (Brighton -
Bradford) will automatically get relegated.
What determines who is top of the league?
Initially points is what
determines the order in the league. You get 3 points for winning a game and 1
point for drawing the game. In some instances two teams may have same
amount of points so other criteria are used to determine who is above who.
Below is the order of precedence
used to determine position:
1. Points
2. Goal difference
3. Scored goals
4. Number of victories
5. Result of the two teams' matches in the league.
6. Random draw
What happens at the end of league?
There is a break of two week before another league starts. The
top team in the league automatically qualifies to the next
league. The teams in 2nd and 3rd position
in the league table need to qualify
and play against other teams that are up for promotion and
relegation.
When the league restarts it is random whether you will play
a home or an away game. Consequently, if you are unlucky,
you will have to cope with not having the revenue of a
league match for up to 3 weeks in a row. (i.e. last weeks
game is away, one weekend break, first game of the league is
also away.) Plan ahead.
How do the qualifiers work?
The diagram below shows what happens to
teams trying to qualify to get into the top division.
The teams in 2nd and 3rd position in div 1.1 and 1.2 and 1.3
and the teams in 8th and 9th position in the top division
will all play in qualifiers
There will be two qualifying groups A and B. Each
group will have a team from each division with a total
of 4 teams in a qualifying group. Each team will
get to play another team in their qualifying group once,
consequently there will be 3 games in total played.
The above pyramid system works regardless which league
you are in.
What are friendly leagues and how do they effect my rank ?
Friendly leagues are leagues whose results don’t
influence your team. Although there is a little bit of
income the main purpose of these is for fun and a chance to
play around with different formations without messing up
your rank and form.
Here are some key points on a friendly league game:
- Match results does not influence your rank
- Matches do not affect players form. Consequently, it
is ok to play “Tired” players.
- Injuries sustained in a match only affect that
match. After the match your player will be in the same
state as before the match
- A Red card only affect the player playing in the
next match of the same friendly league.
- The winner of a friendly league game gets to keep a
cup.
- Attendance in friendly league games are very small –
around 40-50 people
- You only get revenue from the first 5 home friendly
league games in a week
- You can play as many friendly leagues as you want,
they don't affect your ability to play normal friendly
games
I want to join a friendly league, how do I join ?
You need to be invited to a friendly league. If you do
get invited, the "Friendly series" button lights up (that is
the one next to the one between the thumb button and the
live button on the main screen).
Games Delayed – what does it mean ?
Sometimes games are delayed. This often due to server
load or malfunction. Delayed games will get played – just be
patient.
Why cant I play friendly games on Wednesday or Sunday ?
League games are played during the weekend.
How long does a match take ?
A match takes 20 minutes. So if you had a game at 7:00,
the match result will be available at 7:20. Statistics for
the match come some time later depending on server load. As
much as several hours. You can find out a match result
quicker than 20 minutes if you use the Analyser.
How many divisions are there?
England has 6 divisions. In Sweden there are 8 divisions.
It varies from country to country:
Premier Division: 1 league.
Division 1: 3 leagues.
Division 2: 9 leagues.
Division 3: 27 leagues.
Division 4: 81 leagues.
Division 5: 243 leagues.
Division 6: 729 leagues.
Division 7: 2187 leagues.
Division 8: 6561 leagues.
For example division 1 has Div 1.1, Div 1.2 and Div 1.3.
All these division are at the same level so Div 1.1 isn’t
any better than Div 1.3.
The winner in each division is promoted (except in premier
division). The three last place teams are relegated.
Can I give money, players or any other stuff as the
prize to my own friendly league?
No, u can’t. If you try to do so you may get banned.
Is there any advantage to playing home or away?
Other than the income you get for playing a home game,
you also get a general advantage playing home. It is not
untypical when two closely matched teams play that the both
loose away and win at home.
I've been offered a home and away friendly game, do I need
to accept the away game?
No you don’t need to accept the away game. However, by
not accepting the away game you are depriving another club
of some revenue. Doing so will quickly getS you a bad
reputation and you may find it increasingly difficult to get
invites. Remember also there is a total of 10 friendly games
a week but you only get money from the first 5 home games.
Consequently, it just doesn’t make any sense not to accept
the away game.
How many games can I play a week ?
You can play:
- Up to 10 friendly games a week but you can only get
income from the first 2 home games.
- Unlimited (near enough) friendly league games but
you can only get income from the first 5 home games.
- Two league game (normally one of these is at home so
you generally get income from a league game once a week.
Note that in a season there is always times where this
pattern skips an you have a double away or double home
(or vice versa) , so worth checking out)
- Cup games – however many leagues you are in.
How long is
a season?
A season is
13 weeks long. The first 11 weeks of the league you
play matches Wednesday and Sunday, totally 22 games.
Week 12 and 13 are part of the season break. The only
league games that are played during those two weeks are
qualifying games.
Can I remove a challenge ?
If the challenge has not been accepted, then you can go
to the "Challenge button" and click the dustbin to cancel
the challenge.
Can I cancel a booked match ?
No, you cant.
What is a "break" in the match report ?
A break is when the opponents intercepts the ball from a
pass.
