I can't seem to buy or sell any players?
In the first 3 weeks of starting a new team, you are not
allow to either buy or sell players. This is because
new players often made the mistake of selling some of their
best players not realizing that getting a player of that
quality maybe difficult in the future or new players bought
to many players and we bankrupt in a very short period of
time. This forces players to spend a bit of time to
understand the game so they can be the most out of it.
The transfer deadline is the time by which you need to have
made your bid. The last person that has
made a bid by the deadline has the player.
The deadline will be extended if bidding is made very close to the
deadline. This stops bidders from
placing a bid dead on the transfer deadline.
Once you have won a bid, the player will join your team 24-25 hours
after the deadline. At the same time
your player starts, funds will be taken out of your team and transferred to the
team that sold the player. Also note that
the player can play for his original team right up to the point he is
transferred (ie 24 hours after the deadline).
How do I know if I won the bid?
If the play is in "Office->Transfers -> Your Bid"
after the deadline then you have won the bid. Note
that this is the deadline you see in the "Your Bid" not the
original deadline that might have changed.
If the player is not in "Your Bid" then you
have been outbid. Goto the "Clubhouse -> Home" page
and can see who outbid you.
If no-one bided for your player, he will return to your club
24 hours after the transfer period. You cannot put him back on sale or sack him
until he returns to your club.
I am using playing monitoring to check a player I want to bid on but it isnt
updating
The player monitoring page does seem to
update very frequently. The best way to get the latest update is to get
the players ID from the player monitoring page and then goto the transfer
section and do a search using the player ID.
You always get taxed on the profit. The way the profit
is calculated and the tax is dependent on how you got the player, here are 3
scenarios:
REMEMBER: If profit is negative then you will not get taxed.
Player you had on your team when you started
Here the profit is calculated as profit = Player
selling price - Value of player
In this scenarios you will be taxed 20% of the profit.
Player you bought on the transfer market and resold later
Here the profit is calculated as profit = Player
selling price - Price paid for player
1. If you sell a player within 5 weeks of buying him: 95% of
the profits will be deducted in taxes
2. If you sell a player between 6-13 weeks of buying him: 50% of the profits
will be deducted.
3. If you sell a player after having him for 13 weeks: the tax is 20% of the
profits.
Player came from your youth academy
Here the profit is calculated as profit = Player
selling price - Value of player
- 18 year olds 50% of the profits are taxed
- 19 year olds 40% of the profits are taxed
- 20 year olds 30% of the profits are taxed
- 21+ year olds 20% of the profits are taxed
Example: If you buy a player for £20,000 and one week later you
sell him for £30,000, you would have made £10,000 profit. Unfortunately because
it was within the 5 weeks, you will be taxed at 95% on that profit leaving you a
gain of £500. So although you sold him for £30,000, you will only get
£20,500 from the sell..
It means that the
player is under surveillance because his team is suspected of cheating because
the amount bid is so much higher than the value of the player. Some
players however are so special that many people bid high amounts and the bid
isnt actually a cheat.
